Hi, I’m Khesia!
I’m a freelance children illustrator based in Singapore.
When I was young I liked painting just for the sake of hobby. Since I have sons, I enjoy creating colorful artworks to tell stories for children and consider it to be my profession, even though I studied Food Science and Technology and previously worked as R&D in food industries.
When I am not drawing, I can be found reading picture books for my sons and sending them to explore Singapore playgrounds or nature parks.
I find inspiration from daily kids interaction at the playground, family intergenerational interaction, nature’s beauty, and my readings.
Apart from illustrating children’s story, I had some collaboration projects to design fabric pattern for Singapore fashion brand.
